WE HAVE NOT JUST SEEN AND HEARD THIS!

Acts 2:32-33 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

There is something life changing about seeing the miraculous with your own eyes! No matter how many people argue, criticize or attempt to destroy what you have seen; when you have seen it with your own eyes, nobody can take it away from you! When you have seen it, you know it is real! When you have seen it, you cannot be dissuaded through science, religion or anything else!

I remember the very first time that I was in Ethiopia; seeing with my own eyes a crowd of well over 500,000 people, full of anticipation, life and oh, when Bro. Billy Cole spoke the word of faith over the masses; with my own eyes I saw at least 110,000 people be filled with the Holy Ghost immediately! The ocean of voices that began to speak with new tongues was an image burned into my eyes, ears and heart and nobody can take it away from me!

I remember seeing a blind woman be led to the altar. Her eyes were completely white. She had been blind since birth. But as we began to pray in the all powerful name of Jesus; it was as if scales fell off her eyes and for the first time in her life she could see! I saw her instantly and miraculously healed!

Just last week at Apostolic Truth Church in Wisconsin, we witnessed the miraculous power of God once again. When the Holy Ghost fell in the altar a man who was deaf in his left ear and of the name of Jesus! Somebody said "to see is to believe!" I have seen hundreds of thousands receive the Holy Ghost, the lame walk, the deaf hear, the blind see, withered limbs stretch forth completely healed and multitudes of devils cast out and oh; I AM A BELIEVER IN THE MIRACLE WORKING POWER OF GOD!

If the eyes are the window to the soul; then my soul has been set on fire and filled with great faith each time I see His mighty hand at work again! Not only is there power in seeing the miraculous with your own eyes but there is also something powerful that happens when you hear the victory report of the Lord!

I was not there when Bro. Stoneking was raised from the dead, I did not see it with my own eyes but when I heard what God heart was filled with faith, my soul bore witness that our God can do anything and all I could do was rejoice in the Lord always!

In the Old Testament whole nations trembled at the reports they heard of the power of our God! Reports they never saw themselves but only heard, caused fear, awe and adoration to nations, cities and individuals.

Should not we tremble also at the report of the Lord! Should not every miraculous report, cause our hearts to soar! Should not we as apostolic's hunger, wait for and instantly rejoice at the testimony of the redeemed of the Lord!

For the Apostles it was not just what they had seen and heard that convinced them that their path was straight and the cause was just. It was not just what they saw and heard that made their feet walk another mile, to another city and suffer greater persecution with joy and gladness.

But let me tell you what put a smile on the face of prison dwelling apostles, let me tell you what put praise on the lips of persecuted men and let me tell you what put a dance in the feet of those who were rejected of men; THEY HAD A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH PENTECOST!

Acts 2:1-4 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

120 believers, who had seen the miracles, been with the master and heard the promise, gathered together in an upper room in Jerusalem; not to talk about what they saw and nor to discuss what they heard but rather to personally experience something that would change their life forever!

It was that personal experience with the power of God that gave then joy in the midst of sorrow, strength in the midst of weakness and hope when hope seemed lost.

I can still remember the day that I received the Holy Ghost. When I walked into that Pentecostal church and I saw people receive the Holy Ghost and I heard people speak with new tongues; my heart leaped inside of me and seeing and hearing was just not enough for me! I had to have it for myself!

The Holy Ghost was exciting to see and awesome to hear but wow, it was so much better when I got it for myself! Oh praise God that we did not just see this, praise God that we did not just hear this: PRAISE GOD THAT WE HAD THE COURAGE TO EXPERIENCE PENTECOST FOR OURSELVES!

Psalm 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good.
