A testimony from Brother Franz
On 15 Oct 03, our dear Brother Franz went home to be with the LORD. He was faithful to Jesus Christ and His church until the end. In 1. Thess 4:13-18 the Word of God gives us a strong comfort.

Psalm 63:4-5 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

My testimony today: Why I know and since when I know, that I am here in the true church of Jesus Christ.

10 years my two daughters Silvia and Gitte begged us to go with them to this church, until we gave in and went with them. But dear sisters and brothers, I was so shocked by this kind of worship service. Everything was so loud and different than in other churches. I was convinced, "One time and never again!" But Jesus, our Lord and God had a different destination for my life.

The following Sunday (I was already looking forward to the new summer TV program) I felt urged to dress myself in my Sunday suit and to go with my wife to the worship service. I really didn't want this, but Jesus pressed me to do so.

Since that day, my Brothers and Sisters, I know, that Jesus has guided me to this church and gave it to me as my spiritual home.

After I have repented, I was baptized here in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ and on my 66th birthday I was filled with the Holy Ghost and since then I have been faithful to the Lord and His church. I experienced my salvation the same way as it is written in Acts 2:38 and in other chapters of the book of Acts. The gospel doesn't change! As you know, the Lord has only the best for us and I thank Him for my salvation. How about you?

Since this time, everything has changed to the best for me; all my cares, all my sorrows He has taken away from me and still takes them away. He has never disappointed me or let me down. Daily I want to thank and praise the Lord in meekness and without selfrighteousness. I have a glorious hope in Jesus Christ. Amen. Halleluja!
