This was the second winter concert of the Mannheim Apostolic Pentecostal Church and it was again a great success. Like last year, Assistant Pastor Sascha Wey was the MC for this evening. The Mannheim praise team sang das first song, “It's a new day" (English/German). This was also the motto of this Gospel concert und this continues to be the theme for the upcoming special Gospel-Worship Services in the next two weeks.

Isaiah 43:18-19 Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it?

Then different ensembles and solo singers followed with many wonderful worship songs. Sis. Madleine sang the song "The Bible says", which she composed herself. She has been composing songs for nine years and she was very grateful to the Lord that she was able to sing two of them at the concert. Bro. Justin und Bro. Williams sang accompanied by the Praise Team: "You raised me up". Bro. Michael Williams, who is the director of the Mannheim choir and of the different ensembles sang: "It feels like redemption." Pastor Wey greeted everybody with a spiritual thought.

The children choir praised God with all their heart singing the song: "Beautiful One" in English and German language. The group of the Francophone sang the song „Hosannah“ (French/English/German). The worship songs of the Mannheim choir directed by Sis. Williams: "We are ready for Jericho" and the Medley "Amazing grace/My chains are gone".

We are thankful that the Augsburg choir supported us this year again. The Augsburg Choir, which is directed by Bro. Omar Lyman, sang a Gospel medley/sing along, then “Oh Happy Day” and “Jesus I love calling your name”. For many years we have a good and close friendship with the church of Augsburg. The Augsburg and Mannheim praise team sang together "Revive us again" (Engl/German). The Drama Team from Augsburg did a sketch, translating the song "The presence of the Lord is here" into sign language which touched and excited all of us. Pastor Krauss and his family didn’t have it taken from them to be with us.

At this point we want to thank all those that contributed to this concert. A special thank you goes to the Augsburg church for their great contribution to this concert and to the Mannheim Praise Team and the different ensembles. Under the direction of Bro. M. Williams, the music ministry of the Mannheim church grew immensely and we are privileged and blessed that he puts his longtime experience/expertise into this ministry with great engagement and excitement.

During the concert there was an intermission, where tasty refreshments and snacks were served, which the kitchen team had wonderfully prepared.
